About Tikvah International School

Fostering Global Leaders with a Christ-Centered Curriculum

Welcome to Tikvah International School, a leading institution dedicated to providing a holistic and rigorous education rooted in Christian values. Located in the vibrant community of Lubowa, Makindye-Ssabagabo, we are committed to cultivating not just high-achieving students, but ethical, compassionate, and globally aware leaders.

The Tikvah Difference

At Tikvah, education goes beyond textbooks and exams. We believe true preparation for life requires a balance of intellectual, spiritual, and personal development.

  • Christ-Centered Foundation: Our curriculum is intentionally woven with Christian principles, ensuring that students develop a strong moral compass and an understanding of service, integrity, and faith.

  • Academic Excellence: As an international school, we uphold rigorous standards, offering a dynamic curriculum that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and a passion for lifelong learning.

  • Global Citizenship: We actively promote an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and prepares students to collaborate, communicate, and lead effectively across cultures.

  • Holistic Development: From robust After-School Programs that encourage enrichment beyond the classroom to dedicated mentorship, we nurture the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.

Our Values

Our community is built on a foundation of core values that guide our actions and decisions:

Join Our Community

We invite you to explore the possibilities at Tikvah International School. Whether you are seeking a challenging academic program, a nurturing spiritual environment, or a community dedicated to developing true global leaders, you will find your place here.

We encourage you to visit our campus or contact our admissions team to learn more about how we are shaping the future, one student at a time.

Note: The Hebrew word "Tikvah" means "Hope."

Tikvah ($\text{תִּקְוָה}$) means Hope, but its root is 'Rope' or 'Cord.'

  • Hope is the rope you hold: It's the anchor line that prevents you from sinking in despair.

  • Hope is active waiting: The root suggests stretching out or enduring—you must hold the rope until your safety (future) arrives.
